Monday 15 June gave us reports of two circles in Wiltshire: one in Grovely Wood, and the other … well, at least what’s left of it (next to nothing), seems to have been found by someone in a microlight, flying over the area around Furze Knoll, not far from Roundway. The report of the latter was made public on Instagram by Monique Klinkenbergh:

Of course, confusion followed that it was the Grovely Wood circle that had been cut out. It most definitely wasn’t.

Over on the Facebook sewer, little brains finally got the message that it was not the Grovely Wood formation that fell under the blades of the combines. Nonetheless, one particular numbskull couldn’t help but cry conspiracy: Klinkenbergh had, at least in the very empty void between one failed land artist’s ears, contacted the farmer who had, in turn, removed the formation:

Really, just how would have Monique Klinkenbergh got the crop circle defaced, when its existence seemingly wasn’t known to anyone apart from the farmer when it was cut out? We will probably never have any real idea of what this circle looked like.
