We recently featured the ‘chicken’ crop circle on Roundway Down. Now, a week later, a second crop circle has appeared just a short distance away, sharing exactly the same tramlines.

We had expected there to be a lot of pushback against these circles, possibly with the farmer mowing both out. We wouldn’t have blamed them. However, both circles have remained untouched.

The newer circle is interesting given its appearance which some have interpreted as heralding the upcoming solar eclipse. Whilst we’re not sure on that we are reminded of the line, ‘a crop circle can be whatever you want it to be.’ We see unusual 13 fold geometry, together with echoes of two circles to have appeared in the same area over recent years: 2021 and 2023.
