DETAILS
Reported: 19 April 2022
Location: Handley Hill, Sixpenny Handley, Dorset
The first circle of the 2022 season has arrived in the beautiful countryside close to Sixpenny Handley in Dorset.
It’s certainly rough around the edges and very different. Some have called the circle it a turtle, others a ‘teddy bear’. There’s even been some completely unnecessary and totally incorrect speculation as to the circle’s origins.

The farmer has requested no visitors enter the field due to the ‘criminal damage’ inside. Meanwhile, the Crop Circle Connector has seen fit to consign this formation to its rumours section rather than giving it a page of its own. Poor little thing.
If you want to see more of the circle, watch Nick Bull’s video below:

Always a nightmare to work canola here’s to the next one 👍🏴☠️
Good to see you here KH. It’s genuinely unpleasant stuff and there doesn’t really seem to be a lot of it around this year. If you haven’t already seen it, there is an article here on 20 of the very best oilseed rape formations. You can see how we were spoilt between 2007 and 2010. They’ve been very much in decline since then, echoing the wider trend of circles in general.
