Croppie Gossip: Know All Knows Nothing

The butthurt is trickling down legs over at (Un)Official Crop Circles UK on Facebook, like a very bad morning with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Dear old Mark ‘Billy’ Breen seems to be endlessly repeating a weird mantra, ‘if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing’, whilst Team Ten Watt stables cleaner Frank Smithland clearly has a lot of not very nice things to say. He seems particularly unhappy at the work behind the construction of the circle at Sutton Veny from mid-May:

‘…whoever put the outer construction circle down made a right pigs ear of it, and you can see the board work behind it was a bit rough as a result.’

To accompany his sterling observations, Fwank has accompanied the text with an image of the formation. His drivel would be fair, were the circle in the image not near enough one month old to the day, having taken a massive battering from the elements and a significant amount of visitors. It’s always the same with these losers though … quick to criticise yet no achievement of their own beyond having the deepest boxes of Kleenex.

Reading between the lines, Fwank is being harsh because he thinks a certain maker was responsible for this one. Shame he’s pointing his pudgy fingers in the wrong direction ahead of his piggy eyes. Blinded by venom and hatred, he can’t see the wood for the trees, just going to show he knows less than we thought he did. Keep it coming Fwank, we enjoy watching you flounder.

The silly so-and-so goes on to cry that the Crop Circle Connector is not featuring the work of his Team Ten Watt brethren, instead placing their excrement firmly on the website’s rumours page. Never one to miss an opportunity to ham it up, he bends the truth, suggesting ‘the CCConnector refuses to acknowledge any work that isn’t put through them.’

Not true, Fwank. An unclaimed crop circle could appear somewhere in the wilderness and it would be featured by the Connector. What you don’t understand is that the Connector seem to have no interest in featuring the work of you and your land artist chums. Now, could that be anything to do with the abuse that has been sent their way from your friends through the years? Is it anything to do with them openly claiming their work, thereby ending its categorisation as a ‘crop circle’ and turning it into nothing more than ‘land art’?

And, given all of the recent talk about CCUK’s follower numbers, why are you even bothered, Fwank? What is it about the Crop Circle Connector and even our very own website that seems to upset you so much? If you want the work made by you and your friends to be accepted as anything other than ‘hoaxes’ and ‘rumours’ you’ve all got an awful lot of laundry to iron — even more than your carer has with all those tear-soaked hankies of yours.
