Video: Julian Richardson Interview
![jrichardson](https://thecroppie.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/jrichardson.jpg)
A 2012 interview with legendary circle maker and land artist Julian Richardson covering his entry to the fields in 1990 to his views on the meaning of the circles and the strangeness that accompanies them.
Richardson shot to prominence in 1993 as the nineteen year old circle maker that claimed responsibility for the beautiful mandala-style formation at Bythorn, Cambridgeshire (see below). Its appearance would divide cerealogical opinion over the true capabilities of the human artist and lay the groundwork for a new era of geometric crop circle design.

Much appreciated Croppie!! Ive never heard this before. My first circle was with Busty Taylor. He gave me a lift from a Glastonbury conference to the Barbury Castle formation in 1991. Ive listened to 30 mins, and am rationing the rest!
