Despite the farmer telling people not to enter the field at Etchilhampton, half of the global croppie population still decided to descend upon the site and get inside the formation.

We ummed and aahed and eventually thought ‘what the hell’, making a detour on a very warm evening.

If you scrutinise the above photo you can see exactly what infuriates farmers and respectful croppies. Look at the tracks leading to the circle left by people too lazy to walk down the tramlines. And then everyone wonders why farmers don’t want croppies in their fields and choose to mow out new circles.
