We thought twilight would be a good time to get some groundshots of the July 2024 crop circle at Stoke Charity, near Winchester in Hampshire. It would have been possible to write a book on the visit, covering various circles-themed philosophical issues, but we will save those for another time. Instead, just some vague recollections: snails … a crop circle shortage … wide drill lines … oil seed rape harvesting over the road … spiders … sore feet … grain in shoes … RAF Odiham … AAC Middle Wallop … lodging … perhaps we’ve been spoilt … ducks … topography preventing an incredible photographic opportunity … looking down into the centre from the outer ring … heat … croppie world problems.
