Video: A Field Full Of Secrets (2014)
Director Charles Maxwell travels to England during 2010 and charts his attempts to make sense of the crop circles and make contact with the enigmatic circle making force. Upon returning to California, Maxwell is contacted by Nikola Romanski, an inventor who believes crop circles are a blueprint for a machine.
This really is a film of two halves, the Wiltshire segment being beautifully shot and as good a look at the phenomenon as anything else filmed in the 21st century. The second is a dull lesson in folly as Maxwell and Romanski throw dollar after dollar in a misguided attempt to build the latter’s bizarre device.
