Longwood Warren, near Winchester, in Hampshire, is known for the ‘missing Earth solar system’ formation that appeared in 1995. It’s also just a short walk across the road from Cheesefoot Head; an important location in the history of the circles.
There have been various interpretations of this new circle which has appeared in young wheat. It has been suggested it represents a circular saw. Elsewhere, others have suggested it resembles the moon crossing in front of the sun during an eclipse. The Croppie quite likes it.
