It’s unheard of for a crop circle made in oil seed rape to be mown out by the farmer. What do they have to gain by cutting down an area of crop that will probably just end up being thrown away?
Yet this is what has happened under the Cherhill White Horse. The first of the season has gone. The farmer doesn’t appear to have made any public comment on his decision, but he did make it very clear to the Crop Circle Connector that he didn’t want any visitors to the formation. The Croppie can only guess that visitors either ignored or were unaware of the warning. Visiting a crop circle is a great way to experience it, but it’s a shame that now nobody can even view it from above.
Hopefully this isn’t a sign of things to come.
